Allison Brooks Janney is an American actress from America. Known for her performances across the screen and stage She has been awarded a variety of accolades including an Academy Award a British Academy Film Award and a Golden Globe Award and seven Primetime Emmy Awards, in addition to nominations for two Tony Awards. Allison Janney, who spent almost 20 years in theatres across the country, was popular for her portrayal of White House Press Secretary C.J. Gregg in the wildly popular and critically acclaimed TV drama The West Wing (NBC 1999-2006). Allison Janney has always been a late bloomer. The permit to drive was not issued until the age of 17 years old, a full year before the majority of her classmates were from Ohio. It wasn't until she was 17 that she went on her first date until she went to the university. Even though she auditioned at when she was 23, she did not appear on stage until she reached her late 30s. Faris said she quit the sitcom to pursue other opportunities. However, now Faris admits she didn't make an intentional choice. Janney has worn a hairpiece on her show ever since the beginning. The show's producers did not have to be concerned. Fallon added, "So, now everybody is aware that Janney has been wearing the wig on the show since it started. Janney plans to bring the wig home as a memento. In the first season the report stated that she earned around $125,000 for each episode. By the third or forth season, Faris's Co-star Allison Janey was earning an approximate $200,000 for each show.
